The lower priced Haven Spas in the Provence and Eclipse Series are very competitive in price. Even in Hawaii.

These are equivalent spas in size and price. That's about it. Turbo air is not an option on the Vanguard. The Vanguard Pump HP is less that of the Springville and Watertown. Generally, both the Haven Spas and Hot Springs are ordered by the customer, manufactured on the Mainland and then shipped to Hawaii.
If you are in the 10k price range I believe the Haven is a much much better spa. If the specifications don't convince you a wet test will. There is a huge difference in the jet power and overall therapy experience not to mention overall quality.

Please go to the Hot Springs Site to see the spa and verify the specifications. If you really look at the features here you will see we don't really compete with this sort of spa. 1.65 HP vs 8 HP?? I only include this Hot Springs Spa comparison to illustrate what you get (or don't get) for a similar price. Believe it or not, these are very popular spas. 1.65 HP! Holy Cow! That is not a misprint. 22 small jets? Look closely at the photo. How many small jets on the Haven spas?
This probably would not be a bad spa if it were priced in the $3500 range. This type of full foam spa is way over priced because of simple design, inexpensive construction methods and materials and lack of features.

From what I have observed , the dealers won't give you a firm price until they see you pulling a checkbook out of your pocket. I won't deal with sales people like that for any type of product.
