To that, a multilayer heavy fiberglass reinforcement is applied and hand rolled into place. This time consuming process makes for the strongest possible shell made today. There are no short cuts taken in making this shell. No structural foam is required to support this shell. The shell is the single most important component of the entire spa. A strong shell and equally strong structural frame is used to assure long lasting strength and quality.
It is far more expensive for the manufacturer to build a shell in this fashion.
In addition to being strong, these heavy fiber glass Spa Shells are very comfortable. Lounges are built to be anti-flotation. Built in hand rails are standard and several other advanced features like above water neck blaster jets are standard or optional on many spa models.
